The Department of Mathematics at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, invites applications for a position as Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor of Mathematics to begin in July 2022. The position is for one year. The successful applicant will teach three undergraduate courses per semester at the levels of introductory statistics, calculus, and above. Minimum Qualifications: An M.S. or an M.A. in Mathematics or Statistics or other closely-related discipline in the mathematical sciences will be considered for the rank of Visiting Instructor. Preferred Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics or other closely-related discipline in the mathematical sciences is required for appointment with the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. Physical Demands: All such as commensurate with in-person teaching a 3/3 courseload in introductory mathematics and statistics.
