The
Mathematics Department at William & Mary, a public university of the
Commonwealth of Virginia, invites applications for two non-tenure eligible Lecturer
positions that will begin on August 10, 2022. The initial appointment will be
for a two-year period, with subsequent renewal contingent upon performance
review, departmental need, and funding. We seek individuals with expertise in
Mathematics and Statistics. The successful applicant will be expected to be
effective teachers and will have a 3-3 teaching load. Possible course
assignments include single- and multi-variable calculus, linear algebra,
elementary probability & statistics, ordinary differential equations, and
introduction to methods of proof. Required Qualifications: Successful candidates will hold a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline. Preferred
Qualifications: A
Ph.D. or ABD and previous teaching experience at the time appointment begins
(August 10, 2022). Special
