Applications are invited for a Research Associate post in Analysis in the Department of Mathematics at King’s College London. The Analysis group conducts research in PDEs, operator theory and spectral theory. The permanent members of the group are Dr Jeremiah Buckley, Dr Ben Krause, Professor Alexander Pushnitski, Professor Simon Scott and Professor Eugene Shargorodsky. This is a fixed-term post for 24 months. Candidates should have the potential to carry out research which has high levels of originality, innovation and depth that may lead to significant impact on their field over the long term, and have expertise related to the areas of analysis. The project, held by Dr Jeremiah Buckley and funded by EPSRC, is entitled: “Limit theorems for zeroes of Gaussian processes” and is expected to focus on studies centred around asymptotic behaviour of the zeroes of Gaussian processes in differing contexts. The post is available around 1 September 2022. Further information about the department and the research group can be found at: http://www.kcl.ac.uk/nms/depts/mathematics This post will be offered on an a fixed-term contract for 24 months.
