The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Elon University seeks applicants for a Lecturer position in Mathematics and Statistics to begin mid-August 2022. A Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, mathematics education, statistics education, data analytics, or related field is required. Candidates particularly interested in providing leadership to the mathematics and statistics education program and the Elon Core Curriculum are sought.

Teaching will include introductory mathematics and statistics courses and courses in the Elon Core Curriculum. Candidates who have experience working with a diverse range of people, and who can contribute to the climate of inclusivity are encouraged to identify their experiences in their cover letter.
