General Summary:

The Mathematics Department at Illinois State University is seeking applications for one tenure-track position in Statistics to begin August 16, 2023. Candidates should be able to teach a wide range of courses and show a strong commitment to quality teaching and have a strong research program. The person selected will be expected to teach courses for major and general Departmental programs (typically two courses per semester), maintain an active research program, and support other programs in the Department. Refereed research publications, quality teaching, and professional involvement and service are required for promotion and tenure. Conferred Ph.D. in Statistics/Data Science or a clostely related field by August 16, 2023. State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement of this position. Work Hours
