Tenure-track assistant professor position beginning July 1, 2022. The department of mathematics seeks an exceptional teacher with a research program in applied dynamical systems or applied differential equations. The teaching responsibility is an average of 4.5 courses per year, often including upper-level courses in differential equations. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in mathematics and at least one full year of full-time teaching and/or research experience distinct from the Ph.D. program. Applications must include evidence of a strong continuing research program and exceptional teaching and mentoring of undergraduates with diverse backgrounds and demographics.
