Borland Fellowship in Mathematics £41,593 – £49,210 plus benefits South Kensington Campus Applications are invited for a Borland Fellowship in the Department of Mathematics, commencing on 1 October 2022. The duration of this post is for two years (fixed term). This post provides an excellent opportunity for those seeking to pursue an academic career in condensed matter physics, mathematical physics, or scientific computation. Candidates for a Borland Fellowship are expected to have proven research ability in one of these areas. The successful candidate will be affiliated with the Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Physics (AMMP) Section of the Mathematics Department. Applicants are encouraged to indicate members of the AMMP Section with whom they anticipate interacting during the fellowship. Duties and responsibilities Borland Fellows will produce independent and original research within the Department of Mathematics, submit publications to refereed journals. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a self-directed program of research and scholarship, play a role in the national and international Mathematics and Physics communities.
