| The Centre de Recerca Matemàtica (CRM) invites applications for a senior research position in Mathematical Modelling for Biology and Health Sciences. The appointment will be for an initial period of five years. This position is part of a strategic plan of the CRM to develop interfaces between Mathematics and Biomedicine by hosting research and advanced teaching initiatives at the highest scientific level.
All research specialities will be considered. The position holder should establish and lead an independent research program with multidisciplinary components, open to engaging with experimentalist researchers in Biology or Medicine in the Barcelona area. Teaching in advanced courses can also be required. Start-up resources and funding for mobility will be available.

Applicants should have a provable track record, with experience in team leading and team building and with links to existing research groups in this area of expertise.
