Job Description

The Department of Mathematics at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, beginning from August 2023.  The appointment will be on contract basis for 2 years, renewable based on performance. 


Primary Responsibilities 

• To teach up to 2 undergraduate or Master level courses in Mathematics, especially courses in Applied Mathematics, Data Science and Quantitative Finance.
  Supervising student’s projects.
• Helping with academic related services.

Job Requirements

• A PhD Degree in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics or related areas.
• Able to convey information in a clear, concise and interesting manner.
• Able to work cooperatively as a member of a team and manage groups at the undergraduate level.
• 2 years or more teaching experience in a similar capacity is preferred.
• Be able to start work in August 2023.
