Overview The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at Utah State University invites applications for one or more positions as an academic year (9-month) tenure-track Assistant Professor of Statistics/Data Science, beginning August 1, 2023. Candidates with research expertise in all areas of statistics are encouraged to apply. We particularly seek candidates whose expertise will complement the existing research strengths in the Statistics and Data Science group at USU, including computational statistics, biostatistics, environmental statistics, high-dimensional and functional data analysis, Bayesian statistics, statistical and data visualization, machine learning, and statistical network science (see www.usu.edu/math/research).
