The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Auburn University is seeking a qualified individual for a tenure-track position at the level of assistant professor in the area of discrete mathematics. This is a nine-month position and the desired starting date is August 16, 2018. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Mathematics. The successful candidate will be expected to: (1) pursue a research program in discrete mathematics, (2) have a strong commitment to high quality teaching, in particular, teaching courses in our discrete mathematics program, and (3) advise and mentor students.
