The Ph.D. Program in Mathematics of The Graduate Center of The City University of New York anticipates two postdoctoral positions for the 2012-2013 academic year at the visiting assistant professor level under the umbrella of the Advanced Research Collaborative. The positions will begin on September 1, 2012 and can be renewed for a second year. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics awarded prior to July 1, 2012 and show outstanding research potential. Salary is commensurate with experience. One of the positions will be open to persons eligible to work in the United States and showing outstanding potential for research in Number Theory. The second position is unrestricted. Successful candidates will teach one undergraduate course per year and will take part in the activities of the Advanced Research Collaborative at the Graduate Center.
