Tenure-Track Position in Mathematics


Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in mathematics or applied mathematics at the assistant professor level beginning in August 2018.

 

Candidates for this position are required to have a Ph. D. in mathematics or applied mathematics by the time of appointment and to be willing to teach various undergraduate mathematics courses.

 

Candidates must also have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate mathematics.  Duties for this position include teaching three courses per semester at all levels of undergraduate mathematics.  The Department offers majors in both mathematics and applied mathematics and graduates approximately 16 majors per year.
