Position Description:    

Wabash College invites applications for multiple visiting faculty positions in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science for the 2024-25 academic year. As a flexible department with dynamic programs in both mathematics and computer science, we seek candidates with a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching in either mathematics and/or computer science, an appreciation for the broad intellectual community of an excellent liberal arts college, and the ability to work with a diverse student body. Candidates with backgrounds and teaching experience in any area of mathematics, statistics, computer science, or closely related disciplines will be considered. Teaching duties are three courses per semester, chosen according to candidate interests and expertise, and will likely include a mix of introductory and advanced courses.

Candidates hired with a Ph.D. will be appointed as Visiting Assistant Professor, while ABD candidates will be appointed as Visiting Instructor. The initial appointment begins on July 1, 2024 and will be for one year, with renewal for a second year possible based on a determination of college circumstances and needs.
