*** this position has been closed and new applications are no longer accepted. ***Clinical Assistant Professor of Statistics The Department of Mathematics at Boise State University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track clinical assistant professor of statistics, starting August 2023. The successful candidate will teach statistics, and will coordinate multiple sections of introductory and service statistics courses. Teaching duties include undergraduate statistics at all levels, primarily calculus-based statistics and above, including Engineering Statistics (MATH 360) and Probability and Statistics I (MATH 361). The teaching expectation is four undergraduate courses (12 credits) per semester. Coordinating duties include Statistical Reasoning (MATH 153) and Statistical Methods (MATH 254). The coordinator will support instructors of those courses, including training new instructors. The successful candidate will establish and maintain accessible, inclusive, and equitable learning environments both for students and for supported instructors.
