Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics at Baylor University invites applications for a postdoctoral position, starting in August 2011. This position may be renewable annually to a maximum of three years and is not a tenure-track position. Customarily, the teaching load is two three-hour courses each semester. Salary and benefits are competitive. Excellence in teaching and research is essential. The department seeks candidates whose research interests are compatible with those of current faculty. Active research areas in the department are in the general areas of algebra, analysis, differential equations, mathematical physics, numerical analysis, computational mathematics, representation theory, and topology.

Candidates should possess an earned doctorate in the appropriate field of study by August 2011.
