Postdoctoral Position
A postdoctoral position is available starting immediately in Professor G.E. Karniadakis’ group in the Division of Applied Mathematics at Brown University.
The project is supported by NIH and involves coarse-grained molecular modeling of red blood cells in malaria and sickle cells anemia; also comparison with microfluidic experimental data provided by our collaborators at MIT. The candidate has to have a good background in molecular dynamics or dissipative particle dynamics, some knowledge of biology & physiology, and strong programming skills including parallel computing.
