The Department of Mathematics at Bucknell University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position, beginning August 2011. Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in statistics or another field of the mathematical sciences, a solid background in statistics, strong commitment to teaching statistics, and high potential for research. The successful candidate will teach a variety of statistics courses and maintain an active research program. Bucknell University values a diverse community of faculty, staff, and students.
