| Research mathematician in fields targeted by the department for development and in existing areas of departmental research. The former include analysis, mathematical finance, applied mathematics, and operations research. The latter include algebra (especially group theory, computational algebra and cryptography), number theory (especially automorphic forms), topology (especially geometric), probability, and dynamical systems. Exceptional candidates in other areas will also be considered. Duties will include teaching a range of courses at the undergraduate and master's level. The successful applicant will be expected to continue an active research program supported in part by external funding.
Qualifications: Ph.D. and at least two years experience in a postdoctoral or teaching position. Significant achievements or outstanding potential in research, and evidence of and commitment to excellence in teaching.
