| We seek a tenure-stream Assistant Professor for a joint position in Biology and Mathematics to start August 2010. PhD or expectation of completion this academic year required; teaching and postdoctoral research experience desirable. The successful candidate will develop a Systems Biology course for biology and mathematics students and contribute to existing or new courses in biology or mathematics, depending upon expertise. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in university-wide programs, including the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum. We are deeply committed to excellence in teaching and research, including involving undergraduates in research. The appointee will add to this effort by mentoring undergraduate research students in their area of interest. Colgate offers excellent teaching and research facilities.
