Tenure-Track Position- The College of Charleston Department of Mathematics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning August 2021. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in statistics or a mathematical science with an emphasis in statistics by the employment start date. Since teaching, research and service make up the primary responsibilities of the position, a record of and potential for excellence in these areas, including directing student research, make up the basis for ranking candidates. We are seeking candidates whose teaching interest may include master's level statistics courses and statistics courses required for our undergraduate data science program (run jointly with our computer science department).
