Applications are invited for several postdoctoral positions as RTG Griffiths Assistant Research Professor of Mathematics at Duke University in Durham, NC. The areas of research involved include Analysis (broadly construed), Data Science, Computational Science, Deterministic and Stochastic Partial Differential Equations, Dynamical Systems, Fluid Mechanics, Inverse Problems, Machine Learning, Mathematical Biology, Mathematical Modeling, Modern Scientific Computing, Optimization, Probability, and Stochastic Analysis. Candidates should have completed a doctorate as of August 1, 2023 and show definite promise in research and teaching. The typical teaching load for RTG postdocs will be one course during each semester, to allow additional time for research and RTG outreach activities. The appointment will be for three years.
