The Fields Institute is currently accepting applications for three Simons Postdoctoral Fellowships to start on September 1, 2022. These prestigious one-year appointments will provide exceptional researchers with a unique opportunity to work at the Fields Institute with many Canadian and international colleagues on research projects of their choosing, which may or may not be associated with the Thematic Program on Nonsmooth Riemannian and Lorentzian Geometry (July 1 - December 31, 2022) or the Thematic Program on Set Theoretic Methods in Algebra, Dynamics and Geometry (January 1 - June 30, 2023). In addition to a CAD$90,000 salary with benefits, a CAD$8,000 research fund will be provided for each fellowship. Candidates are encouraged to partner with a potential supervisor at an Ontario university in order to extend the position for up to two further years.

Simons Postdoctoral Fellows will be selected by a committee chaired by the Directors of the Fields Institute, in consultation with the Fields Institute Scientific Advisory Panel.
