| The Benjamin Peirce Fellowship has the status equivalent to an Assistant Professor. The appointments are for three years with a very competitive starting salary for the nine-month academic year. This salary usually can be augmented by teaching at the Summer School or by working on a research contract if funds are available. The teaching commitment is three half courses per year, including a one-term course on a subject of the lecturer's choice, if desired. The Benjamin Peirce Fellows are expected to take part in the usual tasks of advising students. |
