Tenure-track Faculty Position in Mathematics



The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment to begin in August 2018. We are seeking an applied mathematician who is capable of both teaching a broad range of courses within the department and supervising undergraduate student research projects.

This position carries a 3-2 teaching load with a full-salary one-semester research leave prior to tenure review, and generous sabbatical and fellowship leaves for tenured faculty. Tenure track faculty are eligible for travel support and reimbursement of relocation costs within the College’s published policies. All full-time appointments offer competitive salaries and include full benefits.


Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching at the introductory and advanced levels as well as scholarly achievement. A Ph.D in mathematics or applied mathematics is required.
