The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Mount Holyoke College invites applications for two anticipated visiting positions in mathematics at the assistant professor level. The positions are for one year, to begin in Fall, 2010, with possibility for renewal. Qualifications include a PhD in mathematics, a commitment to teaching and scholarship in a liberal arts environment, and evidence of classroom effectiveness. The teaching load for visitors is five semester courses per year. Send a CV, statements of teaching and research interests, and arrange for three letters of recommendation to arrive by 2/1/10 for full consideration.
