National Cheng Kung University, Department of Mathematics

The National Cheng Kung University has approximately 23,000 students. It is located in Tainan, the historical and ancient cultural capital city of Taiwan, which boasts more than 50 historical sites sanctioned by the government. This historical heritage is the pride of Tainan City and represents a rich cultural resource to the National Cheng Kung University. The Department of Mathematics at the National Cheng Kung University has research groups in algebra, analysis, combinatorics, computational mathematics, differential equations, geometry, and probability/statistics. Currently, there are 30 full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty members and approximately 56 supported graduate students. The School offers bachelors, masters, and Ph.D. programs in applied mathematics, mathematics, and statistics.
