The Department of Statistics, at The Pennsylvania State University, invites applications for open rank research faculty (at the levels of Assistant, Associate or Research Professor), depending upon the candidate's qualification. These are non-tenure line positions as defined by the University. The successful candidate will work in the Statistical Consulting Center. Qualified candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Statistics or a closely related field by appointment start date. The successful candidate will have evidence of excellence in research, teaching, and communication skills. In addition to regular teaching and research, the candidate will work closely with the Statistical Consulting Center on consulting and collaboration projects as well as training graduate students to become effective communicators.
