The Department of Statistics in the Physical Sciences Division at the University of Chicago invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, and tenured faculty positions at the rank of Associate Professor. The search is open to any area in the field of statistics, including research programs in probability, statistical methodology, theory, or in related fields.

Qualifications
By the time of hire candidates must have completed all requirements for the PhD in statistics or some field of computer science, mathematics or other areas where statistical concepts or methods play an important role.
For Assistant Professor, at least one year of teaching experience as a TA or instructor of record is preferred.
For Associate Professor, at least one year of teaching experience as a TA or instructor of record is required.
