Applications are invited for a tenure-track assistant professor beginning August 15, 2008. All areas of pure mathematics will be considered, with some preference for algebraic geometry, complex and harmonic analysis, global analysis and differential geometry, operator algebras, number theory, or topology. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in mathematics, excellent research potential, and a record of outstanding teaching. A number of departmental faculty members will attend the AMS meeting in San Diego in January; please indicate if you plan to attend.
