Temple University, Department of Mathematics and Department of Computer and Information Science, is seeking candidates for two Postdoctoral Researcher Positions in the fields of Applied Mathematics, Computational Science and Engineering, Machine Learning, or Data Science. The positions are available immediately. The initial appointments are for one year, with a possible extension to a second year. The positions carry no teaching.

The successful candidates are expected to work on a multi-disciplinary research project focused on the development of models and methods for assessment of the performance of multi-agent systems. The positions include assuming a leadership role in the coordination of multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional collaborative research efforts.

Expertise in mathematical modeling, differential equations, machine learning, data science, and/or high-performance computing is desirable, and should be stressed in the cover letter. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
