The Department of Mathematics at Temple University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin on July 1, 2023.

Candidates must have a PhD in Mathematics or a related area at the time of appointment, as well as both proven research potential and a commitment to teaching. Applications from all fields of mathematics will be considered, though preference will be given to candidates whose research program connects with the department’s existing areas of focus: Algebra, Analysis, Applied Mathematics & Scientific Computing, Geometry & Topology, and Probability.

Applications are to be submitted through mathjobs.org and include: the standard AMS Cover Sheet for Academic Employment, a cover letter, a CV, a research statement, a teaching statement, and at least four letters of recommendation, one of which addressing teaching.
