| The Mathematics Department at the University of Arizona invites applications for tenure-track positions at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor levels, to begin Fall of 2010. We are accepting applications in the Research areas of Math Education, Statistics/Probability, Algebra/Geometry, Analysis and Applied Mathematics.
Faculty members are expected to maintain an active research program, to participate fully and with distinction in both undergraduate and graduate education, and to carry out a share of advising duties and committee assignments. The normal teaching load in the Department is twelve units for the academic year. However, at least for an initial period, the teaching load will be nine units for the academic year. By the time of appointment, candidates are expected to have a PhD and an excellent research record or potential, as well as a strong commitment to teaching. Applications will be accepted until 12/31/2009. Review will begin on December 1, 2009. |
