The Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia invites applications for a tenuretrack position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting August 2023. Preference shall be given to applicants in the research areas of Algebra or Analysis, however outstanding applicants in other areas shall also receive consideration. Duties will consist of research and teaching in mathematics, as well as departmental service. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics or related field at the time of appointment. Successful applicants will carry outstanding credentials in mathematical research and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. Complete applications must be received by October 25, 2022 to ensure full consideration, but review will continue until the position is filled.
