Analysis of PDE RTG Postdoctoral Fellowship: The Department of Mathematics at University of Texas at Austin invites applications for Analysis of PDE RTG (Research Training Group) Postdoctoral Positions for Fall 2022. These positions are intended for recent PhDs and priority will be given to those candidates who: (1) show the potential to carry out research of exceptional quality; (2) complement existing strengths in the Analysis group at UT Austin. These appointments include teaching duties, and to be eligible for these non-tenure track opportunities, candidates must (3) have a demonstrated commitment to high quality teaching. The anticipated teaching load is 1 course per semester. These positions are renewable annually for a total of three years. Salary is $60,000 for the 9-month academic year period. Summer funding for years 1 and 2 is available; $3,000 per year in travel support is also available. Applicants must have received their PhD in 2018 or later; exceptions may be made in special cases, for example, for career interruptions. For those hired into the position(s), particular emphasis will be for professional development, including mentoring on grant-writing, and support for participation in professional societies.
