The Mathematics Department at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville seeks exceptional candidates to fill a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in the area of Topology, starting August 1, 2023. Candidates in all areas of topology, pure and/or applied, are encouraged to apply. A PhD or equivalent degree in mathematics must be earned by the time of appointment. Postdoctoral experience is preferred. Evidence of potential for excellence in research and high-quality teaching is required.
