The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Auburn University is seeking to fill several lecturer positions. These are nine-month, full time, non-tenure track positions and are renewable yearly depending on performance, need and funding. The desired starting date is August 16, 2017. Applicants must have earned a PhD or equivalent degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Math Education, or closely related field by August 16, 2017, shown proficiency in teaching undergraduate mathematics and/or statistics courses, and have the ability to work with diverse populations of students. The Department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the excellence of teaching. Desired qualifications include a strong record of exemplary teaching at the undergraduate level. The duties associated with the position include teaching three to four lower­ division undergraduate courses per semester and assisting with course coordination and Graduate Teaching Assistant classroom visits.
