Postdoctoral Research Associate in Pure Mathematics

Applications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral Research Associate in nonlinear dispersive PDEs in the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh. The post is available on 1st September 2018, or by negotiation, for a 12 months fixed term contract.

This position is funded from a research fellowship awarded to Tadahiro Oh. The projects include a variety of possible research directions in nonlinear dispersive PDEs, harmonic analysis and probability.

The research will be carried out in cooperation with Tadahiro Oh.

There will be an opportunity to teach if the candidate would like to do so in order to enhance their career development.

The appointee will join our thriving and growing Analysis Group within the School of Mathematics.

The starting salary will be in the range of £32,548 - £38,833 depending on experience. There is also funding in the grant to support international travel.
