Lecturer in Mathematics (Teaching & Scholarship) Full or Part-Time Grade 7/8

£33,518 - £50,618 pa (or pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Mathematics (Teaching and Scholarship career pathway). You will have a PhD in the Mathematical Sciences or Mathematics Education and a competitive track record of teaching excellence with a proficiency in teaching both small and large groups including the supervision and advising of students. You should demonstrate proficiency in teaching delivery using modern electronic and web-based means and show the ability to build upon the teaching and learning agenda of the department. Individuals with a record of teaching Statistics are encouraged to apply; however, we also welcome applications from well-qualified candidates with teaching interests in other areas of mathematical sciences which overlap with our own. We encourage and support scholarship activities including research in areas such as Mathematics Education.
