St. Thomas Aquinas College seeks qualified candidates for a Visiting Instructor of Mathematics beginning in September 2018. College teaching experience is required; Ph.D. in Mathematics is preferred; advanced ABD will be considered.

The Math program is situated in the School of Arts and Sciences and offers advanced courses for our Math majors, Teacher Education students, and for students in the Sciences and the School of Business, in addition to teaching introductory courses in our General Education Program.

Successful candidates will be able to teach a range of courses, from Freshman Algebra to upper level courses such as Life Contingencies, Complex Analysis, Real Analysis, Numerical Analysis, Cryptography and the Mathematics of Finance. Experience with Actuarial Mathematics is highly desirable. The College prides itself on the high quality of the teaching of its faculty, as well as, on their scholarly contributions to their discipline, and so a successful candidate should address both in their application.
