Position Description:    

Job Description or Duties: The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) is accepting applications for a one year non-tenure track appointment at the rank of assistant professor to begin August 13, 2018. Teach twelve credits per term, including elementary statistics, hold office hours, and attend faculty meetings.

Required Qualifications: Applicants must have a doctorate or ABD in mathematics or mathematics education by the start date. The candidate must have college level mathematics teaching experience and also demonstrate excellence in teaching, and must be qualified to teach elementary statistics.

Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in mathematics or mathematics education. This position requires teaching elementary statistics for science, social science, and pre-nursing students. Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully taught elementary statistics.
