The Department of Mathematics at Marshall University seeks a candidate for a full-time position at the rank of assistant professor starting in Fall 2018. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate levels in mathematics; participate in University, College and Department committees as assigned by or in consultation with the Department Chair; conduct research in field of expertise and involve both undergraduate and graduate students in research; advise students on curricular and career matters as assigned by the Department Chair or College Dean; contribute to the University's general education curriculum with its emphasis on a common First-Year Seminar and core curriculum courses that enhance students' critical thinking, and the University's support of interdisciplinary programs of study.

Required Qualifications: Candidate must have a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in Mathematics.
