WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IN ST. LOUIS, Department of Mathematics and Statistics -- Endowed Professor in Statistics. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for an endowed, tenured faculty appointment in Statistics at the rank of Professor to begin in the fall semester of 2019. A Ph.D. in Statistics or a closely related field is required. Duties will include teaching assigned courses, conducting research, writing for publication, advising students, participating in department governance, and university service. Competitive applicants will have a distinguished record in research publications, graduate training, teaching, and in securing external research funding. Applicants in all areas of statistics will be considered, and researchers working in mathematical statistics or applied probability are especially encouraged to apply.
