Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a truly exceptional leader in modern dynamical systems to fill the newly endowed Anatole Katok Chair in Mathematics in the Eberly College of Science. The recipient of this prestigious chair should have a broad view of dynamics and related areas and play a leading role in activities of the recently endowed Anatole Katok Center for Dynamical Systems and Geometry. This position will be filled as a standing tenured faculty appointment. Substantial discretionary funds will be available, on a continuing basis, to support the Chair’s research programs.
