IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 7 million students worldwide, is seeking an associate curriculum designer to assist with the development of a series of K-5 math workbooks. In this role, you will work closely with the program manager to determine scope & sequence and coordinate content creation for IXL's math workbooks.

This is a full-time position in our Raleigh-Durham office.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Design the overall scope & sequence for each workbook
  • Create page-by-page outlines, including ideas for fun activities or bonus content
  • Write instructions for content writers and editors
  • Ensure workbook content meets stringent quality standards
  • As needed, write workbook content for challenging topics
  • Review graphic designs and iterate with designers as needed
What We're Looking For
  • BA/BS degree in math, math education, or a related field
  • Experience with K-5 math instruction or curriculum development
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Strong communication skills, especially via email
  • Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be efficient and organized while working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Google Drive and web applications
  • Experience in K-5 educational publishing is a plus
  • Interest or experience in graphic design is a plus
