The Department of Mathematics of Rice University, located in Houston, Texas, invites applications for the position of Tenure-Track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Applicants should have extremely strong research potential and provide evidence of success in teaching. Required education is a PhD or PhD requirements fulfilled by November 1, 2019, in Mathematics or related field. The position will entail teaching undergraduates and graduate classes and performing research in mathematics.

Applications should include: (1) The American Mathematics Society cover sheet, (2) a curriculum vitae, (3) at least four letters of recommendation, including one discussing teaching abilities. (4) A description of research program. (5) Statement of teaching philosophy.
