The Department of Mathematics at Washington University in St. Louis seeks one William Chauvenet Postdoctoral Lecturer in Mathematics, whose term will begin in the Fall of 2019. This is a postdoctoral position with an initial appointment of two years and the possibility of extension for a third year. The teaching load is three one-semester courses per year. Applicants should have research interests that agree with those of our permanent faculty and have demonstrated excellence in teaching. Although all applications will be considered, we will pay special attention to applicants working in Topology, Dynamical Systems, and Geometric Group Theory.
