Position Description:    

The Faculty of Mathematics at the Ruhr-University Bochum has an opening for

one full-time position as Research Associate, TV-E 13, (PostDoc)

from

1st February 2019 until 30th June 2021.

The prerequisite for this appointment is a PhD in mathematics, stochastics or statistics.

The position is located at the chair of Prof. Dr. Holger Dette. The chair offers a wide research field in the area of stochastics (see http://www.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/mathematik3/en/index.html).

The participation in research projects of SFB 823, Collaborative Research Center, “Statistical modelling of nonlinear dynamic processes” http://www.statistik.tu-dortmund.de/sfb823.html is expected. The opportunity for further qualification (habilitation) is offered.
