Applications are invited for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning in August 2019. Qualifications include an academic background that has prepared the candidate to teach upper level courses in statistics that form parts of our actuarial program and proposed data science program. Candidates for this position are expected to take an active role in the actuarial program. Required are a Ph.D., by August 2019, in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Biostatistics, Financial Mathematics, Mathematics, or Applied Mathematics; excellent research potential; and a record of outstanding teaching.
