The Mathematics Department at Cabrini University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in August of 2019. Duties include teaching 12 credits of mathematics, including possibly one evening course, per semester; service to the department and the university; student advising; and continuing scholarly and professional activities.

The Cabrini University Mathematics Department provides courses for an undergraduate major, minor, and the general education curriculum of the college. We are a small but active department, graduating generally between four and ten math majors per year. We are committed to providing our students with the challenges and opportunities to grow mathematically but also the support they need to succeed.

Qualifications Ph.D. (in hand or by August 2019) in Mathematics and demonstrated excellence in teaching required. Candidates should be able to teach a wide variety of courses in both the major and in the core curriculum, with preference given to candidates with specialization in pure mathematics and ability to teach Abstract Algebra, Analysis, Geometry and Discrete Mathematics; to use technology in the classroom; and to engage students in undergraduate research.
